A permit is required for all commercial and wedding photography; drone usage; professional filming; and gatherings of more than fifteen (15) people on the grounds of the picturesque Lambert Castle. This encompasses the use of the historic site’s exterior features which include the staircase from the parking lot; plaza and fountain; front and rear porticos; wrap-around walkway of the turret’s exterior; front terrace and stairs; and stone wall with views of the Manhattan skyline. Lambert Castle is owned by the County of Passaic – violation of permit policies will result in the immediate request to leave the premises. To request a permit and reserve a date and time, please email the Passaic County Department of Cultural & Historic Affairs (DCHA) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
