The Belleville Reformed Church was organized in 1697, becoming a National Historic Site in 1981. In 1927, the Daughters of the American Revolution honored these Revolutionary War soldiers buried in the rear of the church with a plaque bearing their names. Today the plaque is located in the vestibule of the church.
